This Yakushima lighthouse （屋久島灯台）, located on the northwestern side of Yakushima Island （屋久島） was built in 1897 and has over 100 years of history. The white, church-like design of the lighhouse is a beautiful balance in contrast to the blue of the sky and sea, and the green of the forest.
