Sushi

Sushi(鮨) in Kagoshima is carefully prepared using locally produced ingredients and the freshest seafood harvested from our waters, such as the delicately broiled Skipjack Tuna(鰹のたたき)from Makurazaki(枕崎)and sea urchins from the northern Satsuma region (北薩摩), etc. The great flavours of Kagoshima sushi is well-complemented by the locally brewed “Satsuma Shochu” liquor(薩摩焼酎).
