Sendai Taki Onsen

An idyllic hot spring village located amidst the mountains, the Sendai Taki Onsen（川内高城温泉）is not touristy and retains its original rusticity. It is said that Saigo Takamori（西郷隆盛）, a famous Samurai during the Bakumatsu period (late 19 century), frequents this hot spring during his hunting trips.
